Centennial Theatre is pleased to announce a second wave of subscriptions for the 2010-2011 Season. Save from 10 to 25% off regular-priced tickets for 7 series in jazz, world music, dance, pop and classical music. No services charges on subscription packages and receive your tickets at home. Subscriptions are available until the first show in each series. Tickets for individual shows will go on sale on August 23. NEW DATE: Joel Plaskett show originally scheduled for September 17th, 2010 has been postponed to March 16, 2011.
Tanya Tagaq Trio show originally scheduled for February 12th, 2011 has been changed to February 13th, 2011.
NEW SHOW: Tragically Hip singer Gord Downie and the Country of Miracles Thursday Oct 21, 2010. Tickets on sales now at the Centennial Theatre Box Office.
Singer Emma-Lee will perform on January 25th, 2011.
Townshippers’ Association Members benefit from a $5 rebate on individual regular priced tickets for shows included in Centennial Theatre’s 2010-2011 Season (Movies and University Singers excluded). Please mention you are a member prior to purchase.

The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Sherbrooke and District Club is holding a Summer Market and Silent Auction as a club fund-raiser at 6 Church St., (corner of Queen and Church) in Lennoxville on Friday, Aug. 27 from 10 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday, Aug. 28 from 9 AM to noon.
Featured is a huge selection of books, plus CD’s, DVD’s, handicrafts, jams, jellies, and baked goods.
There will be a Silent Auction of quality and new items such as hand-crafted items, collectibles, quilt rack, hybrid golf clubs, original paintings, BU Cont. Ed. courses, ladies Schwinn bike, and vouchers for shops, golf, salons, a B & B, Spa Eastman, garages, services, and restaurants. The silent auction closes at noon on Sat.
